A simple structure in terms of floor plan was devised in the shape of the Greek letter ‘Π’ inside which, a two-storey glass volume that unifies all areas of the residence in terms of both height and width was constructed. A two-storey high stone wall was built which opens on to a large glass surface at the back of the building. The garden was situated here, arranged and designed like an outdoor mirror-image of the interior. The small structure on the roof terrace was built of lightweight materials with a wooden casing. The residence is entered via a rectangular raised wooden structure. It protrudes into the house creating a semi-atrium protected from the road and the environment, and serves as the threshold to the main building.
